We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our company immediately. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including reporting and tax compliance.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records
Ensure compliance and other accounting standards
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT and corporate tax
Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and reporting
Monitor and manage cash flow and financial risk
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or equivalent certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
UAE experience & Immediate joining is a mandate
